Quick Giveaway Promotion/Jolly Mom

My daughter and I don't really get out to the movies as much as we used to. We take the cheap route--wait for it to come out on DVD and get on the long waiting list for it from the library. I just saw "Julie and Julia" at long last a few weeks ago. That was a REALLY long wait, but well worth it.

My daughter and I saw the first Nanny McPhee film quite by chance. I don't know how I happened upon it at the library or maybe it was on TV or both. I'm not sure. Anyway, we both enjoyed it. Yes, it was far-fetched, but I enjoyed seeing Angela Lansbury--I don't think that woman will ever stop working! She loved all the silly scenes. It was kind of a modern-day Mary Poppins. And it was nice to see a fairly clean film.

When we found out that Nanny McPhee Returns was coming, we both were excited. We would be going out to see it this weekend when it opens, but we have a yard sale this weekend. We'll go some time this coming week.
