Labor Day Link Up

I am participating in this link up over a 5 Minutes for Mom.  If you have never checked out this site, then please go over and check it out.  It is an amazing blog that I always look forward to visiting.

The question she asks is concerning Labor Day plans and/or traditions.  When I was growing up, Labor Day always signaled the end of summer.  We always started school the day after Labor Day.  This all changed when I grew up and became a teacher down south.  They start school in the beginning to middle of August. So Labor Day just became another holiday for me.

The one thing we always do is go to the thrift stores.  Special deals always abound on holidays at thrift stores.  Usually there are 50% off sales.  Now when you go to a thrift store that already has relatively low prices and then everything is 50% off, you're talking about some serious shopping!
